On race day (September 21, 2025), all participants must report at the holding area (Mayajaal Multiplex, ECR, Chennai) as per the reporting time of their respective race category. Please avoid arriving before your designated reporting time.

No Helmet, No Ride Policy – Participants without helmets will not be allowed to participate.

Parking locations and rental cycle distribution details will be shared with each participant via their registered email address.

• Elite & Amateur Participants: Parking at PVR Heritage RSL, ECR Chennai (near Uthandi Toll Gate).
• Green Ride Participants: Parking opposite Mayajaal Multiplex on ECR Road.

Entry into the event area requires a Racing BIB and Cycling Stickers, which must be collected from the BIB Expo on September 19 & 20, 2025 at Nexus Vijaya Mall (183, Great Southern Trunk Rd, Arcot Rd, Vadapalani, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600026).

Each participant must correctly place their Racing BIB, Cycle Stickers, and Helmet Stickers as per the directional videos. Incorrect placement may result in loss of timing records and event photographs.

Race Rules

Winners in the Amateur categories will be decided based on Finish Time (first to cross the line) and not on net time.

Each Amateur Road Race category will include a 1.5 km Neutral Zone after the start point:

• Controlled riding at a maximum speed of 15 km/hr.
• This distance does not count towards the race.
• All cyclists must remain behind the marshal until the Neutral Zone ends. Violation will lead to disqualification from prize eligibility.

The start point must be crossed within 10 minutes of the flag-off time for all races.

Cut-off Times

Road Race 50 km: 2 hours 05 minutes.

Road Race 25 km: 48 minutes

MTB Road Race 25 km: 57 minutes

Additional Instructions

Participants are recommended to have a backlight and reflectors on their cycle.

Electric bicycles are not allowed in timed race categories; participants using them will be disqualified. They are, however, permitted in the Green Ride category.

The race route will be closed/diverted for vehicular traffic from 05:00 AM to 09:30 AM on race day:

3. 3. Mamallapuram ECR

Cyclists riding beyond the road closure time must prioritize their own safety.

Finisher medals and post-race refreshments will be distributed at the event venue after the race.

Eligibility Notes

CFI-certified cyclists will not be considered for winning positions in the Amateur Road Race (50 km & 25 km).

Medical Support

Medical partners will provide support until the completion of the event.

If a participant requires further treatment or admission after the event, they will be directed to the nearest hospital.

Admission and billing will follow the hospital’s policies, and the participant (or their relative) will bear the costs of such services.
