One Challenge. Two Ways to Win.

You do not need to be a professional cyclist to take part. Whether you ride regularly, enjoy spending more time in the saddle or love covering long distances, there is a challenge for you. Winners will be shortlisted every week based on the weekly Strava leaderboard.

What Makes a Ride Eligible?

  • Be recorded through Strava
  • Be completed during the applicable challenge week.
  • Remain visible as required for verification
  • Comply with the official Challenge Terms & Conditions

Activities with manipulated GPS data, duplicate entries or inaccurate information may be removed during verification.

Ride Safe

  • No leaderboard position is more important than your safety.
  • Always wear a helmet, follow traffic rules, remain aware of your surroundings and ride within your ability. Do not use your phone while cycling.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Challenge is open to eligible participants who meet the requirements stated in the official Terms & Conditions.

Yes. There is no participation fee for this online challenge.

No. Participants may take part using a standard Strava account, subject to the required recording and visibility settings.

Yes. An eligible ride may contribute towards the Time, and Distance Challenges.

Winners will be chosen through a random draw from participants who complete 15 eligible rides of at least 5 km and fulfil all mandatory requirements. Participants already declared winners in another category will not receive an additional prize under the Consistency Challenge.

Winners will be determined based on the highest verified cumulative cycling time and distance recorded on Strava during the challenge period, subject to the one-winner-category rule.

The challenge will run across three weekly cycles from August 03 to August 23, 2026. Winners will be shortlisted separately for each challenge week.

Every week, the top five male and top five female participants in both the Time and Distance categories will be shortlisted based on the Strava leaderboard. All shortlisted winners will undergo verification before the final announcement.

No. A participant may win only one prize during the National Sports Day Challenge. If a participant qualifies in multiple weeks or categories, only the first eligible winning position will be considered. The remaining prize(s) will be awarded to the next eligible participant.

Winners will be identified and verified after each challenge week. The final list of winners will be announced on National Sports Day (August 29, 2026).
