The above rules are only for riders who wish to participate and race for the winning positions. Cyclists who wish to participate in any distance and time their ride can take part on any cycle (TT Bike, Road Bike, MTB Bike, Gravel Bike Hybrid Bike).

Disclaimer: Cyclists with bikes other than the ones mentioned above can participate in the race(s) but they will not be considered for Prize Money.

Race Guidelines

Dear Cyclists,

As you gear up to cycle on the smooth flat course of HCL Cyclothon Noida 2025, here re the race guidelines to be kept in mind for semless event experience.

On race day (March 23rd, 2025), all participants should report at the holding area (Gaur City mall, Gr Noida) as per the reporting time of their respective race category. Participants are suggested not to arrive before their respective reporting time.

'No Helmet No Ride Policy' - No participant will be allowed to participate/ride/race at the event without a helmet

Location of the parking areas and rental cycle distribution areas are shared with each participant over their registered email address

Participants will not be allowed to enter the event area or participate in the race without their Racing BIB and Cycling Stickers, the same need to be collected from the BIB EXPO on March 21-22, 2025 from the Expo location (Noida or Gurgaon, basis your choice during the registration process). The kit collection location cannot be changed.

Each participant should correctly place their Racing BIB, Cycle Stickers, and Helmet Stickers. The wrong placement of these may result in no recording of their timing and loss of photographs from the event.

The winners in the Amateur category, will be selected basis of their Finish Time (whichever cyclist reaches the finish line first in their respective race or age category) and NOT the net time.

Each Amateur race category will have a 2 KM (approx) Neutral Zone after the start point. This is a controlled riding zone with a maximum allowed speed of 15 km/hr. This Distance is not part of the race distance.

Each cyclist will have to be behind the marshal till the end of the Neutral Zone. Cyclists not adhering to this will not be eligible for the prize money.

The start point needs to be crossed within 10 minutes of the flag-off time for all races.

Each participant has to complete the race within the below cut-off times:

Road Race 60 KM: 2 hours 30 minutes

Road Race 26 KM: 1 hours 20 minutes

MTB Road Race 26 KM: 1 hour 30 minutes

Participants are recommended to have backlight and reflectors on their cycle Electric bicycles are not allowed in the timed race category; participants will be disqualified if found using the same. However, participants can use electric bicycles in the green ride category.

The race route will be blocked/diverted for vehicular movement from 05:00 AM to 09:45 AM on the race day. Any Cyclists cycling post the road closer time has to cycle keeping the safety in mind.

Finisher medals and post-race refreshments will be distributed at the event venue after the race

Cycling Federation of India (CFI) certified cyclists will not be considered for winning positions in the Amateur Road Race (60 KM & 26 KM)

However, CFI certified cyclists are eligible for Top 3 positions in the Amateur 26 KM MTB Road Race

Medical partners shall provide their services to the participants only until the completion of the event. For any medical care required by the participant after the event and for which admission into any in-patient department (IPD) is required, the participant shall be admitted to the nearest hospital, and the participant (or their relative) shall follow the policies of that hospital for admission and billing. In case the participant is admitted to a hospital, they shall be charged for the medical services availed there as per the prevailing policy of that hospital and the participant shall bear those costs.
